Artspace Anna Maria began as a search for simple studio space. Today it is a working studio and gallery whose mission is to provide a space that encourages artists to take risks, experiment and produce new work.
Artspace exhibits and promotes contemporary visual art produced by emerging and established artists. All levels of artistic experience are welcome. Resident artists exhibit their work on a regular basis in the gallery as well in various shows nationally and internationally. A wide range of activities occur at the studio/gallery including luncheons, guest speakers, art receptions, classes and workshops.
Artspace encourages the community to participate in its gallery events. Several times a year it offers the Artspace Challenge encouraging members of the community to create art inspired by a conceptual challenge.
