This gorgeous beach cottage offers a charming historical exterior, and a beautifully updated interior with hardwood floors, bright spaces, and professional décor. When you set eyes on the amazing RESORT STYLE pool and spa, you will spend every minute you can basking in it's magnificence. Enjoy the waterfall, the sun ledge for tanning in the pool and seating all the way around. Step inside the home to be greeted by the spacious living area. With two finely upholstered blue sofas and two loungers, the space has lots of room for relaxation and gathering with your fellow vacationers, along with a stone fireplace and flat screen TV with cable. The home also offers complimentary Wi-Fi!
Continue to the kitchen space, which offers soothing coastal vibes, with bright cabinetry and a tiled backsplash. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you’re free to cook as little or as often as you’d like, from family dinners to happy hour cocktails. There’s a dining set that can seat eight, a great spot to grab a snack or a quick breakfast.The kitchen area leads to the covered back patio and green grassy yard, dotted with palm trees. There’s a BBQ grill where you can cook up a fresh catch or cut from the local market, and the patio offers a comfy outdoor sectional, along with several chairs, colorful outdoor pillows, and a coffee table. The backyard leads to the private dock on Sarasota Bay perfect for relaxing and fishing. Boats are not recommended as the water is very shallow.
Back inside, you’ll find the three bedrooms. The first features a queen-sized bed, while the second offers a convenient set up with a twin-over-queen bunk bed—both rooms share a full Jack and Jill style bathroom. The master suite offers a king-sized bed, along with an ensuite bathroom. Each room boasts a flat screen TV, creating a relaxing retreat no matter which room you stay in. A full-size washer and dryer complete the list of this home’s fantastic amenities, giving you everything you could want for a perfect vacation!The historic working waterfront of Cortez is near area beaches, fishing piers, restaurants, and shops. It's also the place to go for jet skiing, kayaking, and parasailing. If you enjoy history, Cortez's Florida Maritime Museum, housed in the restored historic 1912 schoolhouse, is located on the park-like grounds of the Cortez Nature Preserve and includes the Banks Shell collection, ship models, historic boats, and a butterfly garden.
The Cortez bridge connects the area to Anna Maria Island and the gulf beaches which are less than three miles from the cottage.
Cortez Cottage is a dog friendly property! If you have added a pet to your reservation under number of pets, the fee of $150 per dog, plus tax has been added to your reservation total. ** 2 Dog Limit **
