Blue Pelican is our one level beach house located in the heart of Holmes Beach. Just 3 blocks to the shimmering waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Anna Maria Beaches, you've found vacation!
The master bedroom features a king sized bed and the guest room has two twin beds. Each bedroom features crisp linens from our professional linen service and a TV.
Enjoy a home cooked meal poolside under the sun umbrella shaded patio dining set which seats four.
The sparkling heated pool will be your favorite place to relax in a pool lounger or Adirondack chair while enjoying the tropical island breezes.
Your guests will stay connected with complimentary WIFI and enjoy all of the comforts of home, including a full sized washer and dryer.
Blue Pelican is centrally located in Holmes Beach and close to everything the island has to offer. The free trolley stops nearby and travels the entire length of the 7 miles of the island. Hop on and off at your leisure and explore shopping, dining and the beaches.

Wow! Better than the photos. We didn’t want to leave, this place was so beautiful. It felt like home, with lots of personal touches. The kitchen had everything we needed. The grill was great. The furnishings were high quality. But it was the huge, warm pool in the beautiful back garden that really made this an extraordinary property. The check-in and check-out were easy. The short walk to the beach brings you to a lovely stretch where you will see dolphins and lots of fish on your daily swims. As adventurous people, we rarely return to a property; but this place might just change our minds.

Relaxing and chill! This is the second year we've rented through AMLR. They are a great company. House once again was very clean and comfortable. Only about 3 minute bike ride to beach. Neighborhood is quiet and friendly. We love this island!

Wonderful Home and Location! This is our second visit to Anna Maria Island. I loved staying on the North part of the Island. It is quiet, slow, and beautiful. Even though there are families around, you could be in the backyard and have complete privacy. The home was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed, was clean, and very comfortable. The pool was wonderful! We rented a golf cart and I highly recommend. We could take the back streets to all the restaurants, beach, and shopping without dealing with cars!

Perfection! The Blue Pelican was everything we hoped it would be and more! It’s compact, but has everything you could need. Comfortable beds with extra bedding, private pool, new appliances, pool and beach toys! The pool and back patio are perfection. The pool is large and has a sun deck and surprise bench seating in the deep end. We loved having a private pool and space to cool down in after a long day at the beach. The beach is walkable ( closest access point is 65th street, but we found 68th or 70th street to be best for parking a car or golf cart. ) Our family of four can’t wait to book the place again!

Hard to beat! We had the most relaxing family vacation ever here. After coming through the hardest work season we have ever had we were able to connect and relax as a family in this precious little rental. Easy walk to the beach and......oh the back yard and pool! We spent most days on the beach and came home to grill by the very private pool. We have a 12 and 15 year old and we had plenty of room and didn’t want for anything while we were there. Well stocked kitchen, laundry and bedroom/linens/towels. Beach/pool chairs and toys provided. Backyard and pool furnishings were wonderfully adequate and comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality! We can’t wait to come back!

Anna Maria Island Thanksgiving paradise After hosting Thanksgiving for over 20 years we decided to give ourselves a break this year and head to Anna Maria Island for the week. The Blue Pelican was perfect for our family. My husband and I and our two teenage boys found the place to be just right for us. The pictures on the listing look just like it appears in person. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, the showers both inside and out had great water pressure and the laundry closet was stocked with detergent for the week. Our favorite space was the quiet and private fenced in backyard, so beautiful with all the palm trees surrounding the clean and warm pool. Just blocks from the beach and close to shops and restaurants. Renting bikes and a golf cart made the trip even more enjoyable for exploring the island. The property had beach chairs, umbrellas, skim board, a cart and toys for our use as well. We will definitely be back to Anna Maria Island and would highly recommend staying at the Blue Pelican!

Fun beach trip We had a wonderful time on our recent stay at this property. Even though it was small it was well laid out and had plenty of room for the four of us. The private pool was amazing! We brought our bikes and biked to the beach, which I highly recommend. Loved the small town feel of this area.

Perfect Beach House! This was our first time on Anna Maria Island and we couldn’t have picked a better rental! 2 blocks from the beach. Walked to the beach every night to watch the sunset. Walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. Very clean! Had plenty of bath and beach towels, hair dryer, beach umbrellas and chairs, everything we needed. The backyard is beautiful and very private. The owners were staying on the other side of the duplex. Great couple! Made us feel very welcome and at home. Gave us lots of great restaurant ideas where the locals go. Even put a towel to dry the seats on our golf cart after it rained one night. We will definitely be back!

Amazing house on an amazing island! We absolutely loved this little house! It was perfect for our family of four. It was the cutest house and was SO well stocked!! It had beach chairs, pool floats, beach umbrellas and a cabana, and a cart to transport all of it. The beach is just under a half mile walk that was flat and easy. The water was so calm and clear! Our kids found so many sand dollars, crabs, and shells. Manatees swan right up to the beach every day! We spent our days at the beach and our evenings swimming in the pool in the beautiful backyard. It was a tropical oasis! The kids loved having their own bedroom and bathroom. The master bedroom had a king size bed and the bathroom was right next to it. The island is so chill and we could walk to several restaurants and shops. Note that most everything shuts down at 9pm, so plan accordingly. We found that we had to go to eat dinner at 5 or else it would quickly turn into a 2 hr wait. We have found our new favorite beach and vacation destination. We will definitely rent this house again!

You have to stay here! Diane and Kevin were awesome hosts and their place is clean with a very comfortable king bed! The pool and patio is gorgeous and very private! The second bedroom is also private with their own bathroom! We will definitely stay again when we go alone! Had an awesome stay and could walk to the beach and restaurants!

I want to live in the patio and pool area. So comfortable in every way. The apartment is stocked with all you'd want plus plenty of extras. The island is uncrowded and the beach is a few blocks away. Tampa and Orlando are both easy drives as well for amusement parks, etc. Great spot for our family of four!!

Look no further! House was as described in pictures, and very clean. Owners were previous renters, so they know what you want to have when you get there, and it's all there. Comfortable beds! Six minute walk to the beach (with a nice litte piece of artwork for directions!). House includes beach chairs, beach umbrella, and a wheeled cart to get them to the beach! Pool was nice and private, and came with nice floaty chairs. Overall, a great stay; if you're looking to go to Anna Maria Island; look no further!
