Enjoy Local Music at a Festive AMI Restaurant
The best part about attending one of these local events is that you can get in all your vacation relaxing while you do it, with delicious eats and tropical beverages—or any other drink you might prefer! Anna Maria Island has an excellent restaurant scene, and they’re not your typical restaurants you might find back at home. Here we celebrate the coastal lifestyle, and you’ll find lots of lively restaurants with massive patios for enjoying the Florida sunshine, along with live music to top it all off. From the north end of the island in Anna Maria to the southern end of Bradenton Beach, you’ll be able to find a bar or restaurant hosting a live music event near you!
In Anna Maria, stop by Slim’s Place. This bar brings a taste of Philadelphia to the island and offers all sporting events and has live music on the weekends. Their “No Shower Happy Hour” event takes place every Monday through Friday in 2023, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
In Holmes Beach, you can swing by several restaurants that have live music, among them The Ugly Grouper. Stop by on a weekend in 2023 to enjoy live music, along with a selection of freshly caught seafood and bar bites.
In Bradenton Beach, stop by Island Time Bar and Grill. Not only can you snack on a wide selection from their varied food menu, but you can pair it with your favorite beer or cocktail while you enjoy the open-air patio and live tunes this spring in 2023! On Sunday, May 28th, 2023 you’ll find Albert Bashor playing live.
35th Annual Spring Fest Returns to AMI This 2023
This amazing local event occurs each spring on AMI, and features an array of artists, entertainment, and delicious food. The location is the City Hall Field in Holmes Beach, so there will be plenty of space for the artists to set up their booths. Walk around and admire all the different styles of art, from island landscapes to metal sculptures. The artists also offer their work for sale, so perhaps you’ll even end up taking something home with you! This event is family-friendly and is perfect for a fun day out on the island. Admission and parking are both free, making this event even more attractive! There will be live music, educational exhibits, a gala raffle, and more! This year’s festival takes place on Marth 18th and 19th, 2023.
Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend this Spring in Anna Maria Island
Memorial Day Weekend marks the start of summer for many, but it’s still spring until June! When you vacation on AMI for this long weekend, you’ll find several local events to attend in 2023.
