The cozy beach bungalow is hiding behind lush island foliage including tall palm trees and mature vegetation. The light, neutral colors blend into the island surroundings with a calm, soothing look. Once you’ve settled yourself inside, step out into your backyard island oasis. The private in-ground pool is the perfect place for a dip when you don’t want to pack up for the beach. Sun yourself in lounges surrounding the pool or enjoy a meal al fresco! There is an outdoor dining table set for four under the shade of a pergola – it can even extend to seat extra guests if needed. The whole yard is fenced in, and tall trees and mature vegetation add extra privacy to your island retreat.
The entrance to the home opens up onto a spacious sun room. Tall windows let in plenty of natural light. Take a seat in the outdoor living furniture and relax or enjoy a meal or snack in the breakfast area that seats four. Open the sliding glass door from the sun room into the main home. Step into the open living, kitchen, and dining space with wood floors throughout. Sink into cozy and soft beach furnishings and read, nap, or watch a movie or TV show together on the wall-mounted flat screen TV. To block the sun, or for some extra privacy, draw the sand- colored curtains over the door. At mealtime, the fully equipped kitchen is just steps away. Stainless steel appliances accompany plenty of cupboards and drawers full of everything you’ll need for a home-cooked meal. There is a peninsula bar that seats three for a quick snack or to help out the chef, and access to the backyard through the kitchen.
After a day full of island fun, choose a private bedroom. The home is set up with dual master suites. The first master suite boasts vaulted ceilings, an upholstered queen bed, window bench, dresser and night tables, and wall-mounted flat screen TV. Large “his” and “hers” closets offer plenty of storage space. A feature wall boasts vertical wood paneling. The en suite bath features a frameless glass shower with ½ wall and single-sink vanity. The second suite features a wicker queen bed and night tables against a feature wall of wood siding. There is a wall-mounted flat screen TV over a tall wood dresser. Guests in this room can enjoy access to the backyard space through a glass-panel door. The en suite bath features a frameless glass shower with ½ wall and double-sink vanity. The final sleeping space is in the den. It boasts a queen sleeper sofa. Whether you’re watching from the bed or the sofa, you can enjoy a movie or TV show on the wall-mounted flat screen TV. This was the most beautiful property I’ve ever stayed at not just on Anna Maria Island, but anywhere including the Caribbean. We couldn’t believe how spacious this home was - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a den, full kitchen, laundry room, and a spacious living room and breakfast/porch. The pool was a private piece of paradise. It was so well kept and clear. I could go on and on about this property. I literally cried when we had to leave because it was really that beautiful. 10/10 highly recommend!!!

Wonderful! This is our third time at this property. It’s a beautiful house with great location. We walked to town and beach. Most of time we took golf cart to beaches just north of Main Street, but the walk isn’t far either. Small house but plenty of room for our family of four. Everything is beautiful inside and pool is good size.

Paradise! The location on Spring Street in Anna Maria was perfect. On one end of the street the City Pier on the bay and at the other west end of the street was the beautiful, white sandy beach on the gulf of Mexico. The cottage was beautiful, clean and so cute. The pool was amazing with just enough shade from noontime on to enjoy a break from the sun. Highly recommend this location.

Great rental! My daughter and I stayed for a week at this rental and it was just perfect! Loved having our own private pool and we rented a golf cart to go to and from the beach. Island Time is a beautifully decorated and well appointed Beach Cottage in a wonderful location. One block to the gulf for daily sunrise viewing and a short walk of 4 blocks to the gulf to finish your day with a gorgeous sunset. And 1 block to many businesses on Pine Avenue. (The General Store, Hometown Desserts, ...) Kitchen and bathrooms are newly remodeled, with ample lighting, lots of storage,and nice pressure in the showers. Beds are extremely comfortable. The front porch is wonderful with comfy seating on a cushioned couch and 2 cozy chairs. Plus a nice table for 4 for outside dining. Great for early morning, daytime and evening. And the pool area is nicely landscaped, very lush and private. This home was immaculately clean and bug free. (I'm very picky about these things.) We will return for another visit in the future. Can't wait!

Beautiful home! My husband and I honeymooned on Anna Maria Island and we were more than pleased with this house! The pool and outdoor area are better than the pictures can give credit! The waterfall shower in the bathroom was another favorite. There are tons of sitting areas and a cute breakfast nook on the front screened in porch. Neighbors were very friendly, convenient walk or golf cart drive to many things on the island. We will definitely be coming back!

We are sadly headed North after spending a month in this lovely home. While it was unseasonably cool during our visit, the pool temperature was warm enough to swim almost everyday. The master shower was exceptional with its dual heads & bright skylight. I spent many hours on the screened-in front porch watching lots of folks walk by and gaze at the quaint and welcoming cottage. It appeared that the landscaping had been recently revitalized with fresh mulch. The property is superior to any other we’ve stayed in on the island, and this is was our 6th year. We also enjoyed our neighbor, Ernie, and his sweet dog, Lucy. He even gave us some fresh oranges from his neighbor’s tree. Absolutely loved this place!

Upscale Old Florida with Lots of Charm Loved our one-week stay at this beautifully remodeled AMI property. The home is cozy and was exceptionally clean upon check in. The taller ceilings in the living room and the master make this relatively smaller house feel open. The pool area is meticulously maintained with lush landscaping and the pool was just right for our family of three. Check in and check out was super easy and communication to resolve an issue with the pool was speedy and responsive. Overall it was wonderful, location was great. My wife, two kids (11 & 13), and I visited AMI from 7/3/21 through 7/10/21. The house was fantastic—comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. It was also well-designed and decorated. We loved the saltwater pool. The location is also great. The walk to the beach was manageable for us, but I would’ve rented a golf cart had my kids been younger. We’d stay again.

This house is super cute. It is very stylish and the kitchen and living area is very bright with the sky lights. The bedroom near the pool is a bit dark and could use another lighting source. There is a small den with a sofa bed that our kids loved. The front porch is wonderful and would be absolutely perfect for a visit during the cooler months, although we still used it in June. The one bathroom that’s attached to the bedroom had a smaller counter space, but we used the cabinet and drawer and it was fine. The other bathroom had plenty of room for all of our things and was very nice. The dressers were spacious and we used all three! The pool area is gorgeous. The wooden loungers shown in the pictures have been replaced with white plastic ones. They didn’t ruin the look, but the others suit the patios’s style better. And the table is now a beautiful large round teak table. We were so concerned the pool would be tiny because you really can’t tell in any of these online listings, and although it isn’t huge, it was plenty big enough for our family and we loved it! It stayed clean the entire time we were there, even through the storms. The pool area has beautiful pavers and tiles around the pool, but they also make somewhat sharp corners, so just be aware with small children. The landscaping at this home is simply stunning. There are many different tropical plants and flowers that made it so private and pretty in both the front and back yards. The location of this home is just perfect. I’m sure some would consider it a little far from the beach but the walk was easy and quick. We rented bikes and our kids rode all over the neighborhood. Unless you are looking to explore the island, you really don’t need to drive anywhere. Donuts, pizza, coffee, breakfast, ice cream, burgers, seafood, general store, shops, both piers, and bakeries are steps away. I wish there weren’t so many giant new houses going up, and instead, more being restored like this one. It just had a total Florida vibe. One recommendation for the house would be some cute string lights for the back patio area. We used the pool a ton in the evening and that would just add a cool look. There were three beach chairs and some pool floats at the house, so that was a nice surprise. There is a box fan in the bedroom closet which would be perfect to use on the patio if there were mosquitos out. We didn’t see so much as a fly during our visit. We purchased two boogie boards and left them for others to use. We rented chairs and umbrellas from Beach Bums and a wagon from the Lazy Turtle. We highly recommend both places. I’ve never written a review, but found them helpful for our first trip to Anna Maria, so hope this helps. This is a beautiful house in a perfect location.
