Built upon, for what she believed was a need for a smaller “boutique-style” rental company, Sue Carlson started CCAMI in June 2010. Since then, she has assembled a team of the finest professionals whose vast knowledge and experience provides what it takes to offer exceptional service that goes far beyond the reservation process.

Sue first came to Anna Maria Island years ago to visit her parents who were snowbirds escaping the winter months in Michigan. It was then she found tranquility on the quiet island, which seemed so far away, yet was conveniently close to civilization. At first, she too was visiting just to escape northern Michigan winters, but, once here, she began to invest in real estate and soon discovered she was renting her own properties more than the rental agency she had hired. So in 2000, she decided to open her first rental company, Anna Maria Island Accommodations, also known as the flip-flop company.

But, wanting to concentrate solely on sales, she sold that company in 2005. Nevertheless her passion would not wane and five years later came back to the rental business starting CCAMI.

In 2013, her brother Craig, and his wife, Sabrina, decided to join the business, truly making it a family affair.

CCAMI is located in Anna Maria in the old Post Office Plaza at 9908 Gulf Drive.
